Looking for Birth-Father

I was born in Phenix City, Alabama on January 7,1968. My father's family was originaly from Peurto Rico. I was told he was being sent to Veitnam in 1967. My birth mother and him were neighbors. He was from Smith Station. Please I really need help in finding him.
