Hello,

I was visiting the site to just "check in" on things, and see if I could get in touch with a couple of people I had connected with, I felt, once before here on this site.
But, the more I continued to just "look around" I thought to myself, "maybe I'll try again, and just see if I can find a couple of people maybe, who are kind of like me, when it comes to the adoption story I have to share. If you read "Touched By An Angel," by clicking on onejobette, and then "view all posts," I am the "aunty" talked about in this story. I think I am mainly looking to see if there are some people who visit here at this site who are kind of like me, somehow touched, or affected, or still hurting, somehow, with their experience of their adoption story to share. I know, that so far, I only seem to hear from b-moms or a-parents, which is only natural, and am open to ANY who want to respond. Still very welcome, but, mainly wondering, "aunties, grandmas even, ARE YOU OUT THERE? And, do you have a similar story to share?"

I know this comes late, but have been checking in from time to time, and mainly messaging back and forth with a couple of people I kind of connected with once before, when I was here on this site full time. But anyhow, THANK YOU, I greatly appreciate your help and concern. Certainly I hope to find more people out there like me. BECAUSE, where there is a birth mother giving her child up for adoption, there's bound to be an aunty somewhere! I just haven't heard from them yet. Take care!

I'm an Auntie. My sister placed her 2 oldest children. I've always had contact with them.

I'm also an Adoptive Mom.

My Father was an Adoptee, so I guess I'm all wrapped up in Adoption.

Well, first of all, THANK YOU, for responding. I have been trying to hear from more "aunties" such as myself who have been in like situations as I, or similar, or whatever the case may be. But for a while there, it seemed like noone was gonna touch base with me at all, who was coming from the same angle as I.
But it is good to hear from you, and I hope we can talk more and share our experiences. I take it you have looked up my story "Touched By An Angel?" (it's under-find all posts by onejobettee-when you click on onejobette) But, you probably know this!

I read your story and I know those feelings so well! My sister placed 2 children for adoption at ages 2 and 3. It was a horrible experience for us.
