Support for Spouses of Birthparents
Are there any threads, support groups, information for the spouses or family members of birthparents?
My husband (not my daughters birthfather) are trying to gain a greater understanding together of what I felt, feel, and how he fits into the picture, how he can support me, I can support him, etc.
This has become more urgent recently as I am actively searching. While my husband has known about my daughter for years (and says he accepted me, her, the situation) its more a reality now than it was so many years ago. I think he is being faced with his own acceptance in ways he was not quite prepared to deal with it.
I would like to offer him some suggestions, some reading, etc.
Does anyone else have this need? Got any suggestions?
