I am a birthmother looking for my son. I gave him up for adoption in December of 1982 after realizing that at 15 years old I was in no way mature enough to care for him. I put him up for adoption with the hope that he would have a better life that I could have given him at the time. Even then I always held onto the hope that I would be able to meet him again someday and maybe even become a small part of his life. I only recently started searching for him as it was my choice to give him up and never wanted to interfere with the family he was placed with. He is now 19 years old and I have begun my search. I have entered all the information that I have in various adoption web sites and would appreciate any advice that anyone in my same situation might have. I'll never give up hope of finding him. I've never stopped loving him or thinking about him even though I now have 3 other children. All of which has been told that they have a brother out there somewhere.

Check the courthouse in the county your son was born in.....Good luck. He is most likely,,,knowing YOU are out there somewhere and NEEDS to know you and his family,maybe more than you can imagine!!!!!!
