Feb/March 1936 Kress or Kerr Riverside CA or NY
Searching for my father's birthparent(s).
Looking for a possible lead for someone who may have dated a very young lady back in February/March 1936, which produced a baby boy in November 1936. My father was born in San Diego, CA. It is not clear as to whether this young woman was a teenager or just a very young unwed woman. This young lady may have been kin to someone who owned the Kress Dept. Store in Riverside, CA or someone who may have managed/operated the store by the last name of Kerr ~ not exactly sure of the spelling. Anyway, the other slight possibility is that his birthmother may have gone from NY to CA to place my father for adoption. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
