Hi- This coming Thursday September 15th 2005 from 7pm til 9pm the adoption triad support group, Adoptees, Birth Parents & Adoptive Parents meets at my church, Faith Evangelical Covenant Church in Wheaton, IL.(on Rt.56 also called Butterfield Rd at Lakeview Dr. For directions go to www.faithecc.org and click on Directions. Or add this address to your mapquest.com search 2001 Lakeview Drive, Wheaton, IL. 60187 (the group meets every 3rd Thursday of the month from 7-9pm. Very safe/friendly place to share ones adoption story, emotions, find support and adoption resources, and an adoption lending library
This is the 7th year for this Chicagoland suburban support groups that I facilitate for adult adoptees, birth parents and adoptive parents- seems we get mostly adoptees and birth parents.I am a reunited adoptee. If you know any persons touched by adoption living in this area, please copy and paste this post and share it with them!
