OK sorry I really mean it after this- I've got to get to those towels- I changed I'm looking for advice in to I'm looking for advice regarding. Then I added the line you had right before the close of the letter. And changed it should have been to was.
If there is any other advice from anyone you have till Saturday to post it- after that SOL I'm mailing them anyway.
I've got only 4 lawyers picked to start with. I was hoping they'd refer me to someone so I dont have all these letters going out. If they dont reply then next Sat I'll do 4 more and I'll just keep doing that until I get a reply.

OK now were all posting at the same time... I put it at the end because I think it applies to both the photo company and the hospital.
I want to be a house wife also so I can just go swimming every day all summer and go sleding and build snowmen all winter and teach Karma to ice skate. My dream would be to never work again. I may be able to realize that dream in about 3 yrs if my bf's job continues along as it has been and then I'd probably do in home day care for the summer months for school age kids. Maybe the rest of the year with younger kids, but then I'd have to get licensed and we can have up to 4 that are unrelated to us here that we are paid to watch without getting a license (I did take all the classes to get certified, but just never followed though with the renewals since I ended up tossing pizza's for 7 yrs) (I miss that job)

I have all sorts of ideas to stay home and they never end up working out for me.

I hate the photo company! I recieved the order form today to get pics, but no proof or anything. I recieved a proof when I had my daughter! I also now have 2 account numbers so how do I really know which to use? Is only one right? Which one? I want to see something before I just blindly assume the photo is of Kara. I guess being a firstmom doesnt entitle me to the same treatment- as I guess has been proven over and over again with this company!

oof, not every hospital issues proofs. I read that on their site somewhere. Call them to order and ask if they can include an index print of all of them (yoiu can scan later).

I didn't do that but I let them choose the best pic. They are supposedly specially trained for that. They did help me anyway... although I want them to all die now!!! Err, I mean, I dislike that company...

Hope you do send the letter to the atty's next week (I read the other thread about HIPPA laws).

I'm mailing today! The mail man comes around 12-12:30 so I already have them ready for him to run off with.

I guess with the 2 different numbers I'd just like to be sure I'm getting a pic of the right baby. And I did give birth at a different hospital, but my sis "popped" at the one I was just at, so I'll ask her today if she got them.

Might they have put the pics on the hospital website? I know that's slim to none chance. They put all 4 poses of Gracie on theirs (we would flip through all the babies' 4 poses and make them 'dance' cuz we're silly).

I checked the website! It was actually the first thing I did when I saw there was no proof for the pics. Yeah I'm everywhere arent I? Did you get to the last one? I think I should have titled it "Help I'm stuck and I cant Get OFFLINE!" but to late now.
I really do have to get off today, though I've got to get me, my daughter, and I'm not going to trust Josh's judgement- so him too all dressed and ready to go in about 2 hours and 2 minutes from now! The visit is today and I'm sooooo excited! Well I've got to go check up on my other group quick and see if the girl I'm mentoring wrote back- but I'll probably stop in one more time before I go for good!

I know its been awhile, but I'm still trying to find some representation to see that this doesnt happent to anyone else. I had a referal to a lawyer who has tons of experience in business law AND adoption law! Now to wonder how much she charges... If she can even help me. I have hope yet that something can be done about this.

I was able to order hopital pictures of my son...They also posted his picture on the web and i emailed the link to the adoptive mother...He was born 9/5/04. I dont feel depressed but i am scared that one day he wont want to meet me..im afraid he will be angry with me...does anyone else feel this way?
