Post To my son's birthparents as his 1st birthday approaches

Dear Birthparents:

Our son's birthday is coming soon! It is hard to believe that it has been a year already! You have been in my thoughts many times as he passes each new milestone. We don't know you nor you us. We don't know how you are feeling, but hope that you have not regretted your decision to place the tiny infant who could fit in the palms of my hand. He took my breath away when we first met, I didn't see all the tubes and wires, but only the beautiful being that lay in the isolette. He is so precious to us and we cherish every day that we've been given the honor to parent him. He is a pure joy and delight to our entire family! Thank you seems too small for the child that you've entrusted us with. We hope to meet you some day to thank you in person. Until that time, please be assured that we are raising our son with love.

Yours Truly,

Debbie

Thanks

Debbie,
I think what you wrote was very very sweet. **Happy birthday to your child!!** I put my son up for adoption last year, and tomorrow is his birthday. I know that if your childs bmom reads that letter she willed be filled with comfort, and it will put a smile on her face. Especially on your childs birthday.......I hope she reads it. Thank you for making a positive note...it is great to know what an impact us bmoms can have on someone's ife.

God bless you,
Marcie
