I hope this won't sound odd but the birthparents of our potential adoptee would like some places to go --forums and chats--for support and I told them I would try to find some. This forum is so good however, I would like for them to have different ones than the one that we/I am using. I hope you can understand why. I want some privacy here.

Does anyone know of any other good forums in particular and possibly chats for esp bmoms and possibly bfathers?

Have her try Lifemothers.com It was created by someone here on this board and is a wnderful site for birthmoms. I understand your need for privacy, she will bennifit from it as well. I hope this helps.

I just got my birthmom buddy recently and frankly, the site is absolutely wonderful at matching people. Both myself and my buddy placed in December 03, so we're going through some of the same emotions and proceedings. Thumbs up to them!

I too am a member at birthmombud.com I think its one of the best most supportive sites for birthmothers on the internet. They have a weekly chat on Mondays at 8pm Eastern time where several people usually show up and can be there to listen if she needs to talk.

I am also a Proud Member of Birthmom Buds. After placing my daughter in Feb of 2003. I went looking for adoption support. I found this site then after a couple months I wanted to try something else and I found Bithmom Buds and here I have found a home. You could not meet better people. Your birthmom will LOVE this site they match you up with another birthmom to be your buddy like the said earlier there is a chat every monday night. The founders are the nicest women I have ever met. I am so happy with them and I don't know what I would do without them.
