saddend birth mom
my son was adopted out over 20 years ago not of my own will but the state adopted him out i had to do time and now i want my son back my son is 25 years old but hes autistic does anyone no if this is possible

I know this is not the answer you want, but no, there is no way to have the adoption overturned at this time.
I would imagine that your parental rights were terminated, possibly while you were incarcerated or before. There is an appeal period when you can appeal the judges decision to terminate your parental rights (tpr). Once that appeal period is over, you have no legal recourse, unless the tpr was done illegally and you can prove it. I'm sorry for your loss, but at this late date the only thing I can recommend is to register with the adoption registry for the state that handled the tpr and adoption.

Maybe you can register on the adoption registry and find him?? ((hugs)) |
