I am in search of a poem from adopted sister to bio sister. I found my sister a year ago and already we have been thru so many wonderful life changing moments together. She is the sister i always dreamed of as a little girl and i am so ecstatic to have her in my life! We get along terrifically and have a close relationship already. She has made my world Wonderful. My life has gone from empty to full in one years time. I am wanting to make a painting for her for mother's day, and want to add a poem on top of the painting. I need a poem about sisters reunited. Something that says how much i appreciate her accepting me into her life and how happy I am to have her in mine. I have searched google and this website. I havent found anything that 'gets' to me. Does anyone know of a site where i can find sibling poetry, for siblings who never knew of each other their whole lives until now? Or does anyone know of any poems from books? If you do please pm me with them!!! I need them asap! I gotta start on this painting! Please let me know!!!!!!!

have you thought of sending something in your own words.... it would really mean so much more. poetry does not have to rhyme, it just has to come from the heart and tell a story with meaning & emotion that will mean something to both of you, like describing the feelings you had right before you met or right after or both. or the happiness it has added to your life or the emptiness before you found each other. try writing just a bit everyday until the painting is finished and see what you may come up with. sometimes poetry is written in stages, other times it flows out in one sitting.
