Smile She emailed!

I emailed her and my biological half brother a few days before surgery…and she responded today.

She said she wanted to give our relationship another try…I am ecstatic…elated…overwhelmed with happiness. I haven’t been able to stop the tears yet!

Naturally, I am trying to keep this realistic…this may or may not work out…but you know what, at least now, there is a chance!

I am really excited

Wonderful news! Also glad you're on the mend. Did you ask for Versed and Fentenyl for your ansethesia BTW? Wonderful stuff. $10K a shot and worth every nickel IMHO.

Regina,

I did talk with my anesthesiologist prior to both surgical procedures…and I don't recall which one of the two he used, but I’m fairly certain he used one…I actually had very few residual affects from the meds they used…other than being hella tired…which was fine, cuz all I really wanted to do was sleep for about 6 months…(I settled for two days instead).

Brandy,

Glad you're up & on the mend, and with some pretty great news to help you along!

I know you're going to be cautious, but it's still nice to hear that she wants to make an effort.

Keep us posted!

Yep, that's the Versed. Fentenyl dehydrates the crap out of you too, so if you didn't feel like you had dry oats crammed in your mouth all day and could make no spit at all, it was just Versed. Wonderful wonderful stuff. This from someone who's terrified of anesthesia due to two serious (coma) reactions to earlier gen stuff. Last surgery was a breeze.

I am excited, hopeful, and just a little scared for your news, I am sending hope and positive energy (yes, they have colors) your way that this time things go well.
