I am searching for my half brother, whom I believe was born in Michigan around 1945 to 1948. We share the same deceased birth father, Nelson J. DeYoung, but we have different mothers. In both cases, there was no marriage, so I don't have my half brother's birth mother's name. I also do no have my half brother's name nor his adoptive parents. I understand that adoption records are only kept under birth mother's names and no cross reference under birth father's names.

I have previously had some contact with my bio father when he was living and he had another son and two daughters besides me. I can even give you a place to find his obituary.
