Hello everyone,

I just completed my final homestudy visit. It was short and sweet; I asked the social worker if I would get a copy of her report and she said no. She did say that she will tell me that she is recommending me as a foster care/adoptive parent. Then, she explained that the recommendation would be referred to the agency for approval but she reminded me that the agency would not have paid for the homestudy if they felt that it would not be approved. Basically, I am gonna be approved unless something else comes up.

Congratulations!!! My husband and I completed certification in December and we were so glad it was over since it took about a year.

Sounds like you already have someone waiting for you. Good luck and keep the updates coming.
