Almost there
I went to proof read our homestudy today. We have our last PRIDE class tomorrow and we are waiting on our TX background checks to come back. Our alternate caregiver is out of town this week so when she gets back and they get her background check and home visit we will sent to the state office for final approval and licensing...This could happen next week!!!

L&M married since 2004  BD bella 1/4/07  bio #2 due May 2010  2/09- called about foster process 2/09- first home visit 3/09 started PRIDE classes 4/09 homestudy, fingerprints, med clearance submitted 5/21/09 homestudy complete, 6/13/09 last class done..still waiting on out of state background check  7/9/09- background check in, waiting for final approval hopefully next week 7/24/09 officially approved and waiting for the phone to ring.

So I get a message that the lady I spoke with last month is no longer doing out of state background checks. So I had to explain the whole thing to someone else. Then she emailed back and said she could not release it until she had the originals. When I overnighted it I required that someone sign for it so then I just looked it up online and emailed with the name of the person who signed and that it was there at 9:30 AM Friday! I hate beurocratic crap!

Lacey- They are bios, I should make that clear
We are currently listed 0-7, but I think we are going to change it to 2-7. We want to adopt either one child or a sibling group of 2 but we want to foster also.

Signed the last of the paperwork today...should be licensed in 7-10 days!
