Question Providing Day Care While Fostering a child

Hi,
We live in Florida and have almost completed the licensing process. Our file will be sent to DCF on Monday for licensing approval. My question is, can I also provide in-home daycare in addition to fostering children. We are doing the foster to adopt ages 0-3. I would like to do the daycare as a way to earn extra money as I am a SAHM for the most part. I only work 1 day a week outside of my home and my husband works nights. I would like to give up the other job and work from home completely if possible. I am just wondering if they would consider this a conflict of interest.
Thanks,
Theresa

In some states, one cannot have a duel license. In other states, there are restrictions. For example, in my state there cannot be more than 8 children in the home, For us, we are licensed for 2 children and we have 3 bio children. So that means that we could only have 4 children on our child care license, instead of the usual 6. But because 5 children live here, we could really only take in 3 daycare kids. Which makes the money I would be earning completely not worth the effort.
