Finally Aproved
I'm so excited!
 My sw sent me an email on tuesday saying congratulations you are approved. That was a nice christmas present since i have been waiting for a long time to get licensed. Now my question is do i just wait or is there papers we sign before placement? I'm so happy, excited, nervous. Last edited by lyly : 12-26-2008 at 06:00 AM.

Generally once you have been approved (certified) you wait for a placement. In a week or two you should get your certification license in the mail.
If you have to wait more than 3 weeks for a placement I would recommend contacting your certifier to keep your name at the front of her mind.

Thanks you so much. I thought we would get ids or have to sign an agreament with the department before placement.

Yeah! Congratulations~~
 I just found out I'm "a week or so" away from being licensed, and I can't wait!! Now all you do is wait for a phone call! I'm so excited about being at the point that you are at. Good for yoU!!!

Congrats...you are in MA right? How long did it take you in all to get licensed? Are you DCF or a private agency?
