home study must haves?

We have a month or so until we start our homestudy. What items would be beneficial to get together to help speed this along?

Thanks!

Docs we needed were copies of birth certs, SS cards, and drivers licenses for all family members, marriage license, deck page for auto insurance and home owners/renters insurance, shot records for cats/dogs (just needed rabies), registration for all autos, physicals for adults, and last month of pay stubs. We also needed the name, address, and phone numbers of 2 relatives, 2 friends, and a neighbor (each agency has different requirements).

Prep for the home included fire extinguisher in kitchen, smoke detectors on every floor and bedrooms, medicines and cleaning supplies locked up, and outlet covers. We also had to post emergency numbers by each phone (just a big sticker that says 911).

I think that's it

Talking prep for homestudy

I was told you have to have a locked area to keep your meds in. Everyone told me I needed a big cabinet that costs about $150 new. I found a large tool box with a handle and seperate compartments that has a hole to slide a lock through. It is light weight, portable, and it meets all of the requirements. Save your money and purchase a tool box for this purpose. The cabinets are very expensive and you can't take them with you!
