becoming a medical foster home

I'm intersted in becoming a Medical foster/adopt foster home.

I reside in Florida.. could someone tell me what the requirements are for this type of service.

I don't know about FL, but where I live, to be a medical home I had to have 4 references, preferably medical personnel who could attest to my ability to take care of the medically fragile child. I also have to have ongoing training in how to parent a medically fragile child.

I would recommend contacting your local DHS office and talk with them about the requirements.
