Hello all!!
My husband and I just had our homestudy for foster care and we are waiting for our application packet for our physicals and fire inspection. The worker told us it would be alright to buy some things. But is it too soon to inquire about a child that is out of state? ![]() |

I don't know if any of us could really tell you one way or the other because it all depends on your unique situation. If you have seen a child you think you might want to adopt then there's no harm in asking about it.

Where I live if the county does the homestudy, then the foster/adopt parent is obligated to only use it to get placements from that county. There is a time limit, but I forget what it is, maybe 6 months or maybe a year?
