All the paperwork is finished and turned in, and as of early last week, the last of the references have been mailed in. Now I am wondering when (or if) I will recieve the call to set up the interviews and home visit? Or is it possible they aren't even considering us for some reason? Should I call and ask what's up, or should I give her more time? How long does it usually take?

You could always just send an email asking for an update on your status. My husband and I had all our paperwork in in early June last year and we didn't even get assigned a licensing worker until August. The worker told us that the person who goes through the paperwork put us on the back burner because we were only doing respite. I was kinda mad and I think if I had asked them about it earlier, they would have gotten on the ball earlier.
