Question References

As my licensing process is moving along, I had to provide 4 references. When I told each of my references they should be expecting a form to fill out in the next week, one asked me what type of questions would be on the reference form. I realized I had no idea! Does anyone know what questions may be on there?

The questions will ask the folks about how long they've known you, would they be willing to let you watch their children, what your parent styles are, do they have any reasons to not trust your parenting ability, etc. I used to have the exact questions, ...I'll see if I can find them.

Mine had questions like "How do you know the foster applicants? How long? Would you trust them with your own children? Are they loyal, warm, reserved, domineering, ect. 2 of my 3 references actually called me and asked how they wanted me to answer the questions, because they were so intrusive and vague that they didnt want to accidently answer them wrong!

Re

Thanks for the replies. My references were mailed forms to fill out and one of them called me yesterday and said the same thing- this is so vague, how does it tell them anything? She wanted to know if she could write a letter to go along with it, and I said that was fine. Now I just have to wait for all my references to turn their forms in and for my finger prints to come back--any one know the wait time of fingerprints? I also was excited because on here a lot of people were saying their agencies wanted them to take older children, and I requested infants and toddlers only, or an infant-toddler sibling set and I was told that would be no problem.
