References question?

My mother-in-law asked me what kind of questions she was going to be asked, as she is one of our references. She is very nervous, afraid she is going to say the wrong thing. Could anyone tell me what kind of questions they usually ask the relatives?

Our reference checks...

Our references received a three-page form to fill out asking about our strengths and weaknesses as a couple, if we have a stable and committed relationship, if the reference would feel comfortable having us raise their children if they were unable to do so, any experience with children they knew of, a checklist of personal qualities, and a spot for additional comments. They JUST sent them back in, so I'm not sure if they will be called or what will be asked if they are.

HTH!!

Our references had a 2 page letter asking how they felt our marriage was, have they been inside our home, would they trust us to take care of their kids, did we have pets and what kind and how many, have they had an troubles with our kids living with us, did they have any knowledge of our experience with kids, and a checklist with personal qualities (3 choices on each),etc...

Our personal references just typed up letters and they used those. Our neighbors had to fill out the form they supplied to us.
