Hi. My name is Keli. I am 22 years old from florida and a mother to 2 children. My son Caleb is 2 and my daughter Kaitlyn is 1. Their father was adopted and so was my children's half sister. (the mother couldnt care for her and their father didnt have a job at the time so he was forced to give her up, but she is living a very happy life now) We always talked about foster care or adoption. We are no longer together but I am still interested. Honestly i do not want to do this until the kids are in school...but my concern is that I am a single parent. Will this affect anything? I am in the process of looking for a house right now (for rent or rent to own). And I am about to go back to college. I want to do all my research now so I will be ready when the time comes. What is the process? What is the cost? Where do i go? Another concern i have is how will this affect my children? Should I wait until they are older or while they are still young?
