Our agency called last evening and asked us to take a respite placement for this weekend. It is for two boys, five and seven (we had to change the age on our license again to accomodate them). We got called last weekend to take three kids for respite but it did not work out because they were not able to get the waiver for us to have seven kids. The best part is that the worker also told me about a possible placement coming very soon. I am trying not to get my hopes up. I know if God wants that child in our home, he or she will be placed with us.

I just wanted to let you know that it is finally happening after three months. Switching to the private agency was definitely a good move for us. We have had two calls in eight days with the possibility of another very soon. Looks like this agency is the place for us!
