Hi!
Hubby and I have one more Sat of Mapp classes and we are waiting on our fingerprints to come bak, we are going through a private agency that contracts with the state, we were told when we get our prints bak, that will trigger the licensing process, well we know are prints will come bak fine as we have never abused any children or commited any crimes, how long does it take the prints to come bak??? And what all happens after that??? Im sure it will be a good while before we are licensed but Im just courious any ways, I know we have 90 days to turn everything in after prints come bak but thats about it, we have also completed our profiles he did one for himself and so did all so far thats all we have done, oh and my agency called today to see if we would be intrested in doing some volunteer work for them

Depends on how long the back up is. Our state fingerprints came back within 3 weeks. The FBI took 6 weeks and my husband and I have had jobs were they would be on file already.

Hi!

Thanks for responding Jackie, anyways, Just went to the mailbox and we got our SBI and FBI clearance letters bak, we had them done on Aug 20th, so that was not bad at all, it said we meet the state criteria to adopt, so I guess its on to the rest of the process!!!!
