Congrats on the placement and bless you for taking them
. Hopefully all will stay smooth, but come back for support anytime if the "honeymoon" should end.

Hi,
Congratulations on your placement. I agree with Dana, come back if you need us. Sometimes these kids go through a honeymoon period and once they begin to be comfortable with you they will start to act out. I'm impressed. Anytime I've had a child placed with me things seems absolutely out of control for the first week or 2. Michelle

I am sure the honeymoon will end but
I am enjoying the fact they listen to me & especially my husband.we think there is no man in their life on a daily basis cause he has to be careful how he says things. They get their feelings hurt easily.
fs is 2 yrs old and he takes meds for a liver condition.I am guessing it is his liver, because when they were brought they had nothing to tell us just brought the perscriptions. We had no Idea if someone had given him any doses earlier in the day or not. One thing is for sure I am learning how mistakes can be made.I swear we are COMPLETELY in the dark about their situation. Some info we got the first day is not making sense now.So I am hoping tomorrow some things will be clearer. All I really care about is that I am giving the correct meds.& I am sure I am.Tomorrow is supposed to be the first court hearing & the driver who took fd to dad visitation said she would call us & tell us about the kids after the hearing. It kinda feels like they say anything you want to hear. But it is nice having all the energy in the house need some nice weather now. |

How are things going? Were you able to get more info, especially on your fs who is on meds?
