Books
Hi,
I'm trying to do some reading up on foster parenting and adoption. I've read every book in the public library and am looking for more. Most of what I've read are 'how-to adopt' type books, and I'm looking for books that give more information, particularly on foster parenting. I did a search and there are literally hundreds of titles. Would any one be willing to recommend a few? I would appreciate it. Thanks! -Luck

"Older Child Adoption", It covers toddlers to teenagers, deals with adkjustment issues, attachment, bonding, etc.

There is a section of this board that has book suggestions - I just (tonight) posted a list of recommended books I have read personally. Several of them deal with foster care and they all deal with situations which you might face with your foster children. Take a look there: Recommended Books
