interested in foster to adopt

hello,we are new to this sight and we live in pekin,ill and we are wanting to become foster parents to adopt but we are afraid that we won,t be excepted because we only make about1116 a month and live in a one bedroom house.do you think that would keep us from becoming foster parents. we love childern and are unable to have childern of our own. please help with any infor. thank you.

Hello.
You have to look into the laws in your state but here you can have a child in your bedroom up the age of one I think ...it may be a little older but not much. As far as how much money you make. They don't really care as long as you can pay your bills and have a little left over. Good luck!

motherofeli is right. The best thing to do would be to check your requirements. Go to an informational meeting, they can answer whatever questions you may have. You can look up on the internet and find out when the next meeting will be. Or even call the department of human services. Also most private agencies have that information as well. Good luck!!!!!
