Well to help you all better answer my question, we live in nebraska. Im sorry if i sounded rather rood when i posted the disapointment topic, but i am sure some of you understand where i am coming from. Neither of us have kids of our own, but we are trying to have a child. We love kids to death and are willing to do whatever it takes to become a foster parent.

Hi,
Per the National Assoc of Foster Parent FAQ... "4) I am a single person. Can I become a foster parent? Yes. Single persons and married couples are generally accepted as foster parents. Some states do not license/certify homes in which unmarried adults are living together unless they are relatives. " This looks like it would probably exclude you being foster parents.... However, I would call DFACs in your county and ask them.... that's probably the only way you are going to get a straight answer. Good LUck GAdreamer |
