I have tried all over the different states. I have had my adoption worker send out like 20 of my home studies and I only heard that they are considering all possible applicants.
We came close one time, unfortunately, by the workers mistake, the baby was placed in the wrong home and ended up dying. It was very sad, she was a very special needs baby and we were willing to take her in and then they gave her to someone else. I wish I had more positive things to say. My husband and I feel like trying to adopt one of those children is like trying to hit the lotto.

Applying for Adoption
Rhondanlorne,
Have you ever fostered before? If not, you may want to foster first to get an idea of some of the problems the children have. Many of the children have issues that can't be fixed easily. Good luck. Debra |
