Foster Parent/adoption with disability
Hi! I also have a question on adopting and/or foster parenting with a disability. I have a cousin with 4 grown children of her own and her husband had a brain injury quite a long time ago and he is healthy but under her care or guardianship. He is really good with their 6 grandkids and they would be wonderful foster or adoptive parents but my cousin believes they would not qualify because of his brain injury. Does anyone know about this? I think if a social worker studied them they might qualify? Or are they automatically disqualified? Thanks.

Julianna, And what does that mean? That he can't be discriminated against because of his brain injurywith adoption? What about with foster parenting?
