new in virginia

Don't forget private agencies

Also tell her to check out private agencies in the area. Then, if they have orientation classes, attend as many as possible to compare agencies & figure out which one she feels most comfortable with. I've found that different agencies offer different support & have different policies (I didn't find this out until AFTER I'd chosen my agency).
