Hi, my name is Krista Evans. I am a research assistant studying the affects of biological children who were/are a part of a foster family. This could include those biological children who's parents adopted a foster child. Our study is being compiled by Dr. Wallace of Tulsa Community College. We are in need of volunteers to participate in our study, and perhaps posting our information on your website webboards/chat rooms could help. All participants will be sent an informed consent and demographic form with self-addressed envelopes. Once those forms are returned, the participants will receive a survey in the mail that should not take more than 30 minutes to complete. The participants need to be a BIOLOGICAL child (either minor or adult) of a foster family or a BIOLOGICAL child of a foster family that has adopted a foster child. There is no research regarding the adjustment and affects of biological children within a foster family unit. Please contact us at
fostercareresearch@starmail.com if you know of volunteers that would be interested in participating in this study, or if you yourself are interested. The researcher I am assisting is a licensed social worker, former child welfare treatment worker, a Ph.D., a registered play therapist, and a college professor. Any thing you have to offer would be greatly appreciated.
It is difficult to check back into webboards we are pooling information from, so if you are interested in participating in this study, please contact us at:

Sincerely,
Krista Evans (Master's Learner Candidate, Clinical Psychology)
