Hello, my husband and I are scheduled to start our classes soon and I was reading a few of the requirements. I noticed that one said that, "the applicants shall have sufficient income or resources to provide for the basic needs and financial obligations if the foster family as verified by employer." and I am kinda confused! I was wondering what they would be looking at or wanting to know. Is their a speciffic income that we have to have? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

There is no set amount that you must earn. They would want to make sure that you are financially stable, e.g. the bank isn't amount to take your house away. I don't remember them getting too specific but it was a very long time ago and each person doing the home study does it a little differently.
