I am the adoptive mom of two wonderful kids adopted through Buckner Baptist Benevolences in San Antonio, Tex. My daughter's dob is 10-8-81 and my son's dob is 5-28-84. They are both half hispanic (birthmothers)and Anglo (birthfathers). I got them when they were 7 days and 6 weeks respectively. They are wonderful, successful kids and I am helping them find any birthfamily they may have...especially siblings. I lived at Buckner in San Antonio from July to February. They seem to give me the run-around. They have sent me the forms to fill out and I returned them twice.

They will not tell me if they have received my updated information. They will not tell me if my son has contacted them, they will not tell me ANYTHING!

WHO can I talk to? What can I do? I am in almost desperate mode here. I need to know he is OK and that he was raised well and they had said something about his spine when he was 3 months old. I called every month to get the updates and I am wondering now if he has a disability?

It's just all messed up.
