How to find Baptist Adoptions through Church's
Several years ago I met a woman who adopted her son through her Baptist Church in the USA. She had told me that there is a Baptist Group in the USA who works within the Baptist communities for Adoption needs. Does anyone know anything about this? Thank you. Laraine

I do not know if this will help, but when I lived down south, I remember in different areas there were "Baptist Children's Homes". These were orphanages run by the Baptist Church.
My wife and I are adopting through the state, and our church has been very supportive. ![]() Best wishes!

I know that our Baptist church visits an orphanage in Texarkana, AR once a year. It is definitely worth talking to your Pastor about. I do plan on talking with mine to see if I can be included on the next retreat (if I can handle it emotionally). I mean how do you handle leaving a place like that and not take as many kids as will fit in your luggage with you JK, but you know what I mean. I don't think I will be able to leave without a child. So I think I would like to get in touch with them and have paperwork going and such and then on the retreat it can be my visit to pick up my child. Could you imagine how wonderful that would be. I get goosebumps just thinking about it.
