Pre-adoption baby shower

That 's what happen to me. My adoption have a bumply start our dd was suppose to come home right from the hospital. Well the bparents had some problems so we waited 19 days before we got our dd. I had put up all the baby stuff I could not look at it. So my thoughts on showers is Wait till after the baby is yours and then have a shower or open house so everyone can meet the baby or child.
