Need help with some boys names. So far what we like is ( not in order of preference ): Tyler, Sean, Matthew, and Luke. We also need help with middle names! Any suggestions? Feel free to suggest other names, too.
Thanks!

Re: need help with boy's name

One of your re: messages brought up that Tyler is no longer popular...my son is Jacob, quite popular, we have to give middle name, birth date, etc. when making a doctor appt. because it is SO POPULAR. So, I would suggest going with what 1)you think he won't get teased with 2) what rolls off your tongue/is fluent with your last name 3) a first, middle name or both that has sentimental value to you(i.e. relative, good friend, etc)4) and sounds good with phrases like: ...be careful,...don't do that,...No!,...come here...in other words, say it over and over and if it grows on you the THAT'S IT! I had names picked out that my son's dad vetoed. Then I babysat a "Jacob" and had to say all those phrases repeatedly with the name and it grew on me. Jake's dad still liked "Kyle" but after my labor he gave in...to Jacob Michael! I love my son's name and have received compliments on it.

My sister just had a baby boy and named her son carson james so I thought it was funny to see that name mentioned, its a great name. Anyway I love all of your names too, they are all great names, luke matthew, tyler is a bit too popular lately but still like it. I love the advice on what names sound good with what as well. Courtney however to me sounds a bit like a girls name. Of course I realize the name I have picked out for my son is not a popular choice, Sawyer Glenn, but I love it and that is all that matters in the end, and that they won't be to tramatized by their own name of course (i.e. teasing)
anyway goodluck april

more suggestions

What about jack or Harry? I also love louis/lewis (both pronounced loo-ey). My favourite name from when i was a child was wilam (pronounced will-m). Its different to willliam. My son has his great grandads middle name as his. It is Elwin. I like it because it is unusual.
