Names that go with Sion....

I just thought I'd get some ideas of names that might go with the name Sion.

Sion is a name that goes back in my dad's family to 1771 and there are three Sion's in our direct lineage including his grandfather, Sion Perry, his great great grandfather, and his great great great grandfather. He wanted to name my brother Sion Perry, but my mom refused. So they named him after my dad's brother and one of my mom's brothers.

Anyway, Sion can be considered either Hebrew or Welsh. The Welsh pronouce it 'Shon' and it is the Welch version of John. I believe in Hebrew it is the equivolent of Zion. My family pronounces it like Zion but with an S.

Anyway, being an amateur geneologist, I think it would be nice to give an adopted child a family name. And I have been considering what I might combine with Sion.
Child will likely be Latino or perhaps Vietnamese. I would love to name my son after my dad, but his name was Jerry Lamar and he hated Jerry and barely tolerated Lamar.

So....any thoughts?

Other family names I have considered using (not necessarily with Sion) are: Edward (GF), Martin (B), Thomas, Murry, Curtis, Jefferson, Dennis, Vinson (also goes back to 1700's but not in direct line), William (the first ancestor I can trace back to), Wyatt.

Other names I like: Brayden or Braydon, Caleb, David, Daniel, Ethan, Elias, Gabriel, Gideon, Joshua, Jerrod (sort of a version of my dad's name), Jeremiah, Jonas, Nathaniel, Riordan, Zachary.

Do you like any of the above combined with Sion or have any other thoughts?

I particularly like Sion Thomas...Thomas being my dad's favorite cousin who's birthday I was born on and also my great grandfather's name, and a name in my mother's ancestry. However, my ex-fiance is also named Thomas...

Sion is also a variation of Sean(and pronounced the same) in Gaelic/Irish. the SIO combo is pronounced "Sha" in Gaelic. Siobhan is a great example lol it's pronounced "Sha-vonne"(it also happens to be my middle name lol)

When pronouced as "Sean" I love Sion Thomas & Sion Riordan...when pronounced with the long "I" "S-eye-on" Sion Thomas is still nice...it's hard for me to say it just because when I see Sion I hear "Sean" lol
