Question These names?

Whatdyou guys reckon to:

Sonny Jay
and
Jasmine Keeley

For twins?
The girl's first name is particularly troublesome.
I like Jasmine though. Hmm.
Cheers

A second set of twins??? Wow, that was quick... Are you not sticking to "L" names this time around?

lol, they're not mine!
That WOULD be quick!
No my friend's wife is pregnant with twins. They don't know the sex (they want a surprise) so they figured they should sort out at least one name for each gender.
Seen as I'm the godfather they want me to help!
Only thing is, their surname is Bleue (simply pronounced like the colour blue)
So if they chose Sonny, it'd be Sonny Blu....
One of those names thats either a celebritys name that you can't forget, or too coincidental.
That's why they're not going for Skye!

Sonny is a good nickname, but I think he'll do better in the world if he has a more formal name.

Jasmine is a nice name, but with the last name Bleue--I dunno, sounds like a stripper to me.

I'm assuming they're of French descent--how about something more French sounding?

Well, I was thinking we had heard from you sometime last fall... how old are your boys now? Seriously, if you had another set on the way, I was prepared to be frightened for you... I imagine you're quite busy as it is!

I agree with spay, with the last name Bleue, I think I'd stick with something more traditional for a first name. Nothing's coming to mind right now though... I'll let you know if I come across something. Good Luck!

lol
Yes extremely busy!
They're 9 months next Friday.
Feels like just yesterday they were just little bundles of helplessness - bit bigger than that now!
We do WANT more kids but it makes sense to wait a couple of years 'til we're more awake....

I did suggest a more traditional, socially-accepted name but I reckon they'll realise that at the last minute!

In reply to spaypets, they are french descendant, but I don't know if they want a typical french name like Pier or Anabelle (is that french?).
Maybe something more subtle, don't know what like though.
I actually really like the name Jasmine but it's their kid, not mine!!!

They could choose one that is French in derivation but is Americanized, like Gilbert (in French it's prounounced Jeel bare).

There's a website: http://french.about.com/library/travel/bl-fr-names.htm

It's hard to suggest names without getting more of a sense of their taste in names.
