my two cents

I like almost all the girls names, but am warning you that Bella (usually short for Isabella) is gaining popularity -- that bothers some people who want to avoid other children having the same name. Of the girls names I think I like Annalynn least -- I'm not crazy about combined names--they always sound made up to me.

I think I like Blythe best of your list -- it's familiar but uncommon.

Boys names: Laken Hudson doesn't sound right to me--makes me think of Lake, which makes me think of the Hudson River-- and the almost rhyme sounds awkward. Lawson Hudson has the same rhyming issue. Riley sounds the best and Gavin is ok too. The Social Security website can tell you how popular they are, if it matters to you.

The only trouble with Riley is that because it ends in Y it might start being a popular girls' name.

Good luck!

I agree with the above post about the two rhyming names-he could get teased for a rhyming name. I love the name Riley. I also love Bella and I like Blythe but it always makes me think of the word blight. My next girl(hopefully)is going to be Belle or Bella......so maybe it is gaining popularity if that is an issue for you. Belle is a family name though for me. Isnt it fun picking names? My son's name is Flynn and we get TONS of compliments on it. The only other one I have heard of was an older gentleman on the news on time. Never heard of another. Good luck and have fun!

Flynn

There's a reporter at the Chicago Tribune named Flynn McRoberts--he's in his 30s--we were in college together. Very cool name.
