My name is Dawn and I am the proud mother of Shane, adopted from Russia April 2006. I am currently adopting a baby boy from Guatemala. The past few years have been the most enlightening years of my life. Through the ups and downs of international adoption I have learned who I am and what I want to do with my life. I had hoped I would have figured that out in college. However, it has only been through my life experiences that I have finally found the answers. I am passionate about helping to find more children forever families. I have worked in the non-profit sector for approximately 15 years. For the past 11 years I have been considered the anchor and core for a medical association working with physicians advising and guiding them through processes and programs. I am extremely organized, resourceful, professional, flexible, polished, motivated, and adept at multitasking. I am excited to make this career change and believe that my skills and experience are easily transferable.
