I live in Baltimore Md. I am trying to start a program for young mothers ages 15-18 with one child each. My question is can I get the statisticts on how many young mothers ages 15-18 are registered each year in Foster Care. I need this for a proposal for money from grants and to get my license. I need to prove that this is a group that need services from my program.

Have you tried contacting your county child protective services? I don't know about Maryland but I know that these kind of stats are kept in CA and as long as you just want stats and no personal information I don't think there would be a problem.

I would check with the MD Right to Life. They should have local and national chapters. They have great resources to get you the stats you need.
