ok I know this is probably a long shot but hey if I dont ask Ill never know..

Im trying to find any information ect on my birth mother or any relatives..

Her name at the time of my birth was Christine Beatrice Johns, who resided in NSW, Australia..

I wouldnt have a clue as to who my father was, and am still unsure as to wether Christine has remarried (still waiting on a search being done)

I was born on the 10th March 1973 and was born at Crown Street womens hospital (In Sydney)

Heres hoping that someone out there way know of her or some info that could possibly help.

I dont want to disrupt her life in anyway and understand that I could still a be secret that no one knows about but I am curious as to learn more about who my family really is..

I noticed on your other thread that you'd applied for your OBC from BD&M and was just wondering if you received it yet and how it's all going.

I've been through search (& am in reunion), previous to coming across these forums. I know it helps to have support and I know could have used it had I known it existed and that there were so many people here willing to help, share, listen and just be there.

Hi Cara,

10 weeks later and the only thing I have received are my medical records from the hospital.

Though unfortunately I received a phone call on thursday informing me that my birth mother had passed away in 1995, but now they have told me I will receive the rest of my information this week.

I am totally at loss as what to do now, they have told me she wasnt married, and the only other child she had was a girl who was adopted 2 years before me.

Once I get over this , I will then start to look deeper into more information on her.
