Find Adopted Daughter
[color=darkblue][size=4][font=century gothic][font=arial]
This is my first try at finding my wifes daughter who was adopted out at or soon after the birth. The only details that we have is that she was born during the last week of October in 1973, at Christchurch Womens Hospital New Zealand. My wife named her Penelope, but it was probably changed at adoption. We dont want to cause any distress to her or her adopted family, we would just like to know that she found happiness and love. My wife has never missed a day of praying for her daughter. I hope that someone out there can help us find her I would appreciate any help that we can get as I am new to all this. We live in hope, Ulbey |

Ulbey:
I live in Christchurch, NewZealand - is there anything I could do to assist you? What have you done so far - have you contacted what previously was The Department of Social Welfare? Do you live in NewZealand? I am more than happy to assist but can you advise if you have started to search actively. I know here in NZ there is a register and if your wife registers and her daughter has also registered, a match can be made fairly quickly. Please be aware though, there was also the option of adoptees and b/parents placing a veto which in effect means no information will be released. I am here and will do what I can. |
