Hello
I only found out that I was adopted this year (2005) and am replying to posting. It was only today (Nov) that I received by original birth certificate from the NZ govt and therefore know my birth mothers name. I am female and was born in Christchurch, NZ at Calvary hospital on 2 October 1964. I believe my birth father has been trying to contact me. |

I'm not related to you or your family but read your post on the forums and wanted to respond. It's an old post so perhaps by now you have found your birthmother/father and have come to terms with your new status (an adoptee). How hard that must have been for you to discover that the family kept this from you - and I hope your search for answers is rewarding. I live in New Zealand so if there is any way I can assist you, contact me. Regards - Ann ![]()
