searching for brother
I'm looking for my brother born March 1958 in Auckland, New Zealand. Have tried contacting CYF but they seem reluctant to help. Have also tried Jigsaw without success. Unfortunately I don't have his post adoption name which makes searching pretty difficult. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be very grateful.

Are your parents still alive? Would they give their permission for you to search in writing? While the birthmother/father are still living, CYFS are reluctant to give information to other family members. If however your parents have passed over, I suggest you contact your local MP who should/could get CYFS moving with one phone call. That's why they have an electorate - to help those who live in their area. Good luck Ann
