Shargrae - where do you live? Here in NZ it is reasonably easy to search for a birth relative. What have you done so far?
The system here is pretty good and as long as your sibling has not placed a veto on their records your chance of success is probably quite good. Let me know what you have done so far. I can get you the contact details for the Adoption Unit here in NZ - they are based in Wellington.

Thanks for the help. I actually live in Australia but my mum and brother live in New Zealand. I was talking with my brother the other day and he said he was going to start doing something so I thought I would have a poke around on the net and found this site. So this is the first thing I have done. I have forwarded this link to my brother to have a look at too. My mum tried a few years ago to look herself but gave up at the first stumbling block. We have known about our brother for 9yrs and I am coming over in August for a holiday it would be great if we found him before then. Hey I don't know what to expect but it's just knowing you know? I would hate to die having not tried. (I'm fit and healthy by the way). Any help you can offer is much appreciated.
