Music to Live With

Hi:

Here is a concept. I usually listen to music because I like the beat. There is also listening to music for the mood it can put us in. This would be true for little precious babies too!

So as we are rocking those little ones to put them down for their nap or bedtime we can put tunes on that aid in what our little one needs most ~ sleep.

Here are some titles that we can rock them to sleep by:
Dedicated To The One I Love
Be My Baby
In My Room
Devoted To You Baby
I Love You
Devoted To You (Instrumental)
Angel Baby
We Will Rock You
Winter Light
Brahms' Lullaby
Good Night

These are in one CD http://www.adoptionshop.com/cgi-bin/...tion/to=x.html

This sounds like the collection by Linda Ronstat that she recorded after the birth of her first child. It is a favorite at the center where I work during the little ones naptime.

Hi Judilyn:

That is so neat that they actually play it where you work.

Do you work at a pre-school? or ?

Which song is your favorite if you have one?

Thanks.

I had forgotten about the Linda Ronstadt CD -- I'll have to get it! We love the Disney Lullaby Album -- it's an all-instrumental, soft, continuous CD -- very few, if any, song breaks. My daughter listens to it every night and it's like Pavlov's dogs at this point -- it starts up and she's out like a light!

Adding some CanCon

Our favorite that Liam loves and that I can sing along to is Lullaby Berceuse by Connie Kaldor & Carmen Campagne. The best part for me is that it is bi-lingual(French/English)

Songs include:

All Through the Night
Prairie Lullaby
Lullaby, Lullaby
I Have You
Dream Baby / L'Enfant Des Rêves
I've Been Told
Hush-A-By
Bonne Nuit
Poulette Grise
Petit Bébé
Maman Fait Dodo
Berceuse Pour Emanuel Reuben James
Isabeau

I really do not have a Favorite song on the Cd. I find all the songs very peaceful. To answer your questin, Sabra, I am the director of a day care center.
